ABOUT US
We grew up together on the West Side of Rotterdam, in the neighbourhood Spangen. Coming from a tough upbringing we know first hand what it’s like to, not have. Therefore it’s our biggest inspiration to help others because we have been in that position before and don’t ever want to go back nor do we want to see anybody else in that position. The name Spartaplein goes back to the street soccer pitch in Spangen, Spartaplein is what kept us on the streets but off the streets at the same time. As kids we have witnessed things that made us realize which way we want to go. There were only paths with death ends to choose from so we had to create a whole new route, which we did. Lucho is a professional actor with roots from Curaçao and Lassana is a professional footballer with roots from Senegal and Cape Verde. We just want to show people that are coming from our walk of life that there are far better ways to take care of your loved ones than what you see people do in the neighborhood to get by. Dare to go after you dreams and once you get there, start sharing and inspiring others so they could get there as well. This is where we are at right now at 22 years of age, just two knuckleheads from the neighborhood who made it out the bottom and are determined to uplift the rest to the top with us.

HOW IT ALL STARTED
The Journey
The idea of starting a foundation came years back when I went to visit my old school back in my neighborhood, Spangen. Everybody around us always say that we do help people often not only the kids from our neighborhood but just in life general, why wouldn’t you guys start a foundation? We weren't too sure about it cause we thought it would take away from the genuineness of the act when you document every single thing you do for someone. We decided to start the foundation together and do it our own way although it wasn’t within our character because we rather stay unknown when helping people. A couple years back during a photoshoot we did, a little girl came up walking to us and asked us to be in the picture. I grabbed her hand and we made a picture with her, not knowing that years later this was gonna be the logo for our Foundation. It was just something very spontaneous and that’s the way we move in life. The project we will come up next all depends on how we feel, everything goes from the heart. Our main goal is to hand a helping hand to those who have been tested with less on different subjects.
