FOOD PACKAGES BELGIUM

Spartaplein Foundation x Noa Lang

Together with Noa Lang we have put together food packages for 120 families who are registered with the food bank in Belgium. This was an unbelieveable experience of giving simple that we take for granted in everyday life to families in desperate need. We were given a tour of the food bank where all packages are put together. Every week, the volunteers contribute to making families happy. Their experiences were shared with us ... some people kneel down crying with joy because they can get through the week again, then you actually realize what such a small gesture can mean for someone and what it can do to them. They are so grateful it can’t be described in words, which is why we are invited to experience this when the families come to collect their weekly food package. With God's will we will repeat this soon and we hope to make many more families happy. We want to say a big thank you to all the volunteers of the food bank “De Toevlucht”, you are the ones with hearts of gold.
